Vocal Recording in Las Vegas

Two dedicated, acoustically-treated vocal iso-booths. Neumann U 87 chain. Certified engineers. Multi-platinum results.

Studio77 Vocal Recording Setup

Studio77's two control rooms each include a dedicated vocal iso-booth — acoustically treated for the cleanest, driest vocal capture possible. No room reflections, no bleed, no phase issues. Just your voice and the mic.

Our vocal signal chain centers on the legendary Neumann U 87, considered by many engineers to be the gold standard for vocal recording. Paired with premium preamps (Neve 1066 in CR1, BAE 1073 in CR2) and tube/optical compression (Tube-Tech CL1B, UAD 1176LN, Avalon VT-737).

Best for Hip Hop, Rap, R&B, Pop, Rock & More

Studio77's vocal recording services have been used by artists across every genre — Lil Tjay, Trippie Redd, Yo Gotti, Papa Roach, Disturbed, EBK Jaaybo, Lil Keed, Lou Deezi, Blocboy JB, and 50+ major artists.

Whether you're tracking a single vocal hook, full-album vocal sessions, ad-lib stacks, harmonies, or background vocals, our engineers know how to capture the best take and prep it for mixing.

Real-Time Monitoring & Zero-Latency Tracking

Studio77's monitoring setup ensures vocalists hear themselves perfectly with zero latency — no awkward delay, no phasing, no fatigue. Real-time effects monitoring (reverb, delay, autotune) gives artists the energy they need to deliver their best performance.

Headphone mixes can be customized for each artist in the room, so everyone hears what they need to perform their best.

VOCAL RECORDING FAQ

How much does vocal recording cost in Las Vegas?

Studio77 vocal recording starts at $60/hr in Control Room 2 and $75/hr in Control Room 1. Both rooms include a certified engineer.

What microphone do you use for vocals?

Our primary vocal mic is the Neumann U 87, paired with premium tube and FET preamps. We also have additional mic options based on the artist's voice and style preferences.

Can you do vocal tuning during the session?

Yes. We can tune vocals in real-time using Antares Auto-Tune or Melodyne. We also offer detailed manual tuning during the mixing phase for the most natural results.

How long does a vocal session typically take?

For a single song with lead vocals, ad-libs, and harmonies, plan on 2-4 hours. Album projects vary based on the number of songs and complexity. We offer block rates for longer sessions.

Can I bring my own mic or gear?

Absolutely. While our gear is industry-standard, we welcome artists who want to use specific mics, preamps, or signal chains they prefer.
